Also known as a gloss, Toners are usually the second step in a double process, or can be used to refresh existing color. With many of our highlight services, Toners are necessary to seal the outermost layer of the hair strand (the cuticle), as well as to adjust the pre-lightened hair (which, by default, is warm in tone) to the desired color. For these reasons, Toners are not optional with some services.
