Hello and Happy New Years Eve my Bauman beauties!

I’ve been racking my brain trying to think about what we could discuss this holiday, and I realized that the answer was dangling right in front of my nose!

To be honest with you guys, I’ve been a tad blue thinking about how I’ll be ringing in the New Year alone from the comfort and safety of my home. I can’t possibly be the only person hosting a party of one?

So, here’s my agenda for the evening! Hopefully, it gives you guys some ideas about how to make the most out of this evening.

Don’t know where to catch a firework show? Find a rooftop or a parking garage! For the Fourth of July, I like to park on the top level of the parking garage on the corner of North Park Ave and West Canton, spread a blanket out on the hood of my car, and watch the fireworks in the distance. It should work for New Years too, no?

This is actually something I like to do almost every year! One of my favorite ways to set the tone for the next 12 months is to rip down the vision board I made last year, bust out the stack of Vogue magazines under my bed, and get to work! I’ll visualize what I want 2021 to look like, where I want to go, what I want to do, etc. I think manifesting is an extremely powerful tool that we can use to help us get where we want to go. When you wake up every morning and the first thing you see is a visual reminder of the goals you’re working towards, eventually your collage will no longer be just aesthetically pleasing wall art!

Sometimes social media does more harm than good. And it is perfectly ok to turn your phone off or go ghost for the evening. It stings to scroll through relentless photos and posts of people maskless, in crowded spaces, having more fun than you might be. It can get exhausting and it’s bad for your mental health. Put your phone on Do Not Disturb, put on a movie, pour yourself a drink, and relax like it’s already 2021!
